Guys and Girls

Can anyone give me a bit of help here please.
Installing adobe flash player is driving me mad.
I have downloaded it and it shows up in the Control panel/Programme.
There does not seem to be next to it on the right side any size of the download no MB size.

It hasn't appeared on my desktop as a short cut and when I go to camtasia to play a video it states

The Camtasia Studio video content presented here requires a more recent version of the Adobe Flash Player. If you are using a browser with JavaScript disabled please enable it now. Otherwise, please update your version of the free Flash Player

I have downloaded it. There seems to be a slight hitch in the final process.
Oh, and java script is activated.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks,
Ian

I think there is no such thing as shortcut to flash player. If you want to play the files having SWF extension, then you just have to open it with Internet Explorer. Actually there are two type of flash players available. One for internet explorer and one for firefox. If you have installed both you can easily play the files with either of the browsers. If you are trying to play the FLV videos you have to install codecs like using KLite mega codec pack and then open with media player classic or if you have VLC player then open it with VLC. Nothing more needed.

      Thanks for your reply.

Is it possible to do me a favour. Can you click on this link and see if you get the same as me. It tells me to update my player.

      Created by Camtasia Studio 7

      Thanks,
      Ian

I have got exactly the same error and I think it is due to incorrectly coded Camtasia recording as I am able to watch other content in Camtasia collection.
