Downsell Script

PROGRAMMING

Hey all,

Could some one give me some info on how to create that dowsell effect when someone tries to close the page? The one where if your visitor clicks the back or (x) button it brings them to a downsell?

You can simply use exit spalsh or virtual agent do achieve this. Use the big G to search these you'll find them easily.

I'd be available if you need help to implement it, but it shouldn't be very hard to do.

I purchased Exitsplash but my webhost doesn't allow .php file extensions is there any other options?

  Nevertheless, Chris, you're still out of the PHP environment and sooner or later you'll need it, if you intend to make serious business online.
  
  I'm flabergasted that a host doesn't support it, really... the last time I saw that is almost ten years ago. Ho well... :rolleyes:

  Yea tell me about it, I even called them up they said they don't allow .php because of security reasons. The only reason why I use them is because they have a really user friendly wysiwyg web editor which allows me to create my sales pages without being real technical.
  
  I had to ask for a refund for exitsplash which was a bummer because that software looked killer, I emailed Dave and he said the samething. I'm in the technical stone age

  Yea I looked into this one and it looks really nice, but I want an exit pop that the visitor actually has to click on the exit or back button. Not one that tracks the mouse.
