Convert HTML to wordpress

How can I convert my HTML website to wordpress, the html does not have a CSS file with it, it is basic HTML.

    in order to be able to convert an HTML file to a WordPress theme, you need to know some XHTML, CSS, and PHP.

    It depends. Do you want to have the exact same design in Wordpress or you just want to have the current content as a post with a similar design?

    It's really simple. Select and copy (ctrl+c) everything on the html page. Then open up a new post/page in wordpress and paste (ctrl+v) everything into the visual area for that post/page.

      This one works only if he want to have his html page inside a post, but not as the whole wp blog

    theentry, I know.

    If all he wants is one page though, it can definitely handle it. I'm not sure of the entirely of the site, but if it has multiple pages, he may just have to redesign it for wordpress. It depends though.

      No, it won't. He will end up duplicating tags, including the whole < head > section.

      Pay someone to do it. Building a WordPress theme takes familiarity with WordPress, it's not just a cut-and-paste kinda thing.
