Hello friends,

Can someone help me with the steps I need to take to move my blog from one domain name to another.

I have my blog on a domain name and now I have got a better name and would love to move the blog without losing it contents.

Are you using Wordpress? If you are, first, you need to change the host records in your domain settings through you domain name provider. Then login into your WP and go to Settings to update to the new domain name. Finally, if you didn't install the WP in the root folder but rather in a subfolder, you will need to FTP to your account, change the folder name to reflect the new domain name.

  there is an export feature on wordpress, you find it under tools.
