Software Licensing and Automated Updates...help!

Hello all:

I am in the process of having a new software developed. However, I need some help on licensing the software and finding a system to help me distribute updates when the users opens the software.

I plan to update and address an bugs in the software as they arise; however, since this is my first piece of software, I'm not sure of how to manage that.

Do you know of any online tools that will automatically distribute my software updates when the user opens the software? Any assistance is greatly appreciated...thanks!

    This is something typically integrated within the software. Some folks build their own custom version updating process and others may purchase a third party component/software to assist with this as well. There are a few factors that would need to be considered to know which methods may work for your situation.

    So, since you're developer is already aware of the technology being used then I'd recommend speaking with your developer to get some recommendations.
