I have Grey Boxes currently on my blog. Just started to use them this week. Saves directing traffic directly off the blog. Plus they kinda look cool when the background fade out when the Grey box opens then returns to normal when you close the window..

Actually they are all pretty much of a muchness and it depends what else you want to do on the page (i.e. what else from the javascript library are you going to use). There are versions of the code for most of the libraries
    mootools, script.a.lico.us/prototype, jquery, dojo...

Slimbox gets my vote because its very small if you're doing nothing else as it's a pared down lib.

I can't say which is the best because I haven't use all of them.

But I have used Light Box and Grey Box and I found Grey Box to be more stable than Light Box.

        I'm using it exclusively now.

        Cheers,

        Neil

I love me some lightbox! I've used the Lightbox script many many times in the past and have never had trouble with it. My clients have absolutely loved the results they've gotten with it.

I use Lytebox (not Light box) it fits the image to the screen resolution and has advantages over Light box. I don't know for the others never used them

Have any of you tried MultiBox?

It's quite nice and goes way beyond just loading images.
You can load images, flash, video, mp3s, html, etc. Just
about anything you can think of can be loaded into the
    multibox.

I found it when researching lightbox and greybox and it
seemed to support the most options and is completely
customizable. You see, I wanted to load html pages to
display my web template packages, giving a preview of
what you get without having to take you away from the
    main sales page.

MultiBox seemed to be the only one that could do it efficiently.
Now I can load my video squeeze page templates right into the
multibox instead of just showing you a screenshot of the template.

Anyway, you can check it out yourself at:

    phatfusion : multibox

    Peace & Prosperity,
