wordpress on subdomain

Hey all

I'm currently considering making a number of subdomains for my website. us.mywebsite.com - uk.mywebsite.com - au.mywebsite.com etc. etc.

this I would like to do for SEO purposes.

My whole site is a wordpress site hosted in Denmark but my product sells in the whole world so the different subdomains should help my rankings in the individual countries.

How would one go about doing this? I cannot create more than one database so installing a new instance of wordpress on each subdomain is not an option.

how about some sort of redirect?

hey buddy, you can install new instance of wordpress with only 1 DB. You just need to change the Table prefix like EU_, US_, GER_ etc...

To get more advantage you should use Add-on domains instead of using sub-domains. For that you require fresh content on each add-on domain. Redirecting sub-domain to main domain with the help of 301 will gives you benefit to increase main website ranking in global market, but it will not so useful to improve rankings in the individual countries.
