Best programs for Training Courses on a site? Articulate and Moodle? Can someone help me?
I need some recommendations and help with a site that I need to develop for a client.
I need to create/program a pretty high end site that will offer training courses to customers. Customers will need to pay for whichever training module they want and then login to that class, watch the training and take the quiz.
My client has Power Point presentations of the trainings and is thinking of picking up the Articulate.com software to convert the presentations in interactive trainings and quizzes.
Is Articulate the best software for this part? Best Value? I have heard good things about it, but would always like to explore other options.
For a Course Management System (CMS) I have seen Moodle.org which looks pretty awesome. I am just wondering if this CMS works in conjunction with the Articulate creations.
Also, is there anything else that would be needed as part of the overall project?
I can go into a lot more details of the project with anyone who is familiar with this type of set-up. I would like to hand over this project to someone that can complete it for me and I could stay on as the consultant with my client. He is not looking for a cheap set-up here, it needs to be secured and professional looking, though he doesn't have the deep pockets of Trump, so we need the best bang for the buck.
There could also be continued monthly maintenance fees available, or I could continue that part.
Just looking for a good Warrior before I head to the "freelance" sites for help.
