Wordpress Blog...How to Solve This.

Could someone please point me to right direction on how to solve this problem.

I have a self hosted Wordpress blog and i have just implemented the security issues by upgrading my wp platform to newer version and also upgraded all my plugins too.

But i noticed prior to doing the above work i had somekind of intrusion script installed in my
/ public_html / blog / wp-content / backup / logs / and i tried to delete those PHP files and the .htaccess file but every time i do that they just Re-appear.


How do i get rid of them.

    Can you provide more details about the "intrusion script installed" such as file name or directory name that would be more helpful to solve the problem.

    The problem was some kind of "Intrusion Script" which i have sorted now.

    Found a way to delete it off completely.


    Now the problem is solved and thank you to everyone who was has contributed to this post.

    There is a plugin for wordpress that auto updates wordpress itself and plugins automatically through your wpadmin
    Search for the auto update plugin at the WP Plugins site.

      Thanks...I already have that plugin but i still prefer upgrading manually for varies reasons.

    Have you contacted your host? Potentially this is a server configuration. When you say "Intrusion Script" are you saying that it's a file placed there by a hacker or otherwise?
