best wordpress e-commerce software?

Hi. Looking for a relatively cheap plugin or whatever for wordpress. I need something that is really customizable on the front end (maybe not as extreme as, say x-cart), but simple and easy for the back end. Not looking for any super fancy stuff other than that. Let me know what you all have used before!

      How many (approx?)

      Do you need a full shopping cart or just a buy-now button? How do you want to handle fulfillment?

      For digital, Paul Myers was selling a ~$20 WordPress plugin some time back that seemed to work extremely well. Frontend was WordPress, backend connected to PayPal, eJunkie and few others.
