Hey Team

happy New Year

Just wondered, if i build a new website (now), is there a quick way to see what page it is on in google ?

Ie, At the moment the way i do it is i build a site, then i do a google seach for the keywords that im targeting and then just keep looking down the page a clicking through to the next page until i find my new site......

BUT as it is new could be on page 100 !!!

I find this a bore, does any of you guys know a way how i can see what page it is actually on without the long winded scrolling through page after page?

Im just interested in seeing: what page it starts on and how quickly it moves up the pages etc

    I usually check the first 5 pages. If there's no sign of any page of your site in those 5 pages, you're essentially invisible. No one goes beyond 5 pages (if even that) except maybe for geeks looking for tough programming solutions.

    Google Webmaster Tools will tell you all of this.
    It will tell you quite a bit about your keywords and what they are doing such as position, impressions, position change, click through rate, etc... All graphed, variable ordering, filtering, etc.. If you don't use this free tool you may want to.

    Yes, you can do it with Rank Checker!
    Its a free add-on for firefox! You can tell how your site ranks without having to scroll down etc..
