Please! Urgent Help - How do I complete Installatoin of File Maker Pro for Mac

Hey Guys

Got an urgent call from family member struck down with serious illness asking me to take over the set up and installation of their upgrade Data Base from File Maker Bento to File Maker Pro for Macs

A little out of my depth here, not knowing correct terminology to apply so as to pull in possible people that can help me to complete the installation

Although I am a highly exeperienced IM with sound working knowledge of websites and technical things, this is not my area, so am really reaching out for some fast accurate advice form my WF associates.

Basically what i need is someone who can step in, finish the set up of Master Files and complete installation of this FileMaker Pro for Mac from the File Maker Bento for Mac, ready for Data Entry of 100's of files.

First i need to understand terminology and correct area of expertise to be looking. That's where you guys came in .. hopefullly you will help me learn that cause i need to figure this out fast

I am not able to ask any further questions of family member at this time, so have picked up and run with what i know so far and am clear on what needs to be done once i am connected with the right people.

    G'day Coleen,

    What you need to do is "import" your existing Bento Database into your new Filemaker Pro.

    Now I've never used either program, but any program like this will have ( or should have ) a way to import from the low end to the higher end program.

    I searched on Google and found this which should explain what to do.
