Inserting Aweber Code into Squeeze Page's

Guys,

we always get offers of web templates with squeeze pages already designed for you. However how do we insert the Aweber html code when the squeeze page has a built in form already. Is this a simple technique or a job for elance etc?

    Martin,

This should be pretty easy, but you are going to need to know what to look for. You can open the .html file in notepad or any text editor and look for "<form", this is usually the start of the autoresponder. You'll then need to delete everything from there to "</form>" and paste in your aweber code. Feel free to PM me your email address and I'll help you.

can you also use this method with any Tell_a_friend_script?
For example, how can you integrate aweber autoresponder and a Tell_a_friend_script?
I have tried my hands on this and I get a syntax error.
      Your response will be appreciated.

I have never been so fortunate to find it as straight forward. When I removed the form detail I tend to find the squeeze page distorts. Will paste the HTML later today And let's see if we can resolve.

This is actually not a good way to do it as this could really mess things up, as you pointed out in your last post above.

The best way is to change YOUR <form... tag to match that of the aweber <form... tag...

Then, add all the hidden fields underneath the <form tag...

Also be sure to change the name and email field to "name" and "email" respectively.

Once you do this once or twice, you will find it really is an easy task to complete. Best of all, you won't need to add all the css tags that aweber includes as your squeeze page generally has it's own css coding.

If you need further assistance, do not hesitate to post back or even PM me and I would be happy to give you a hand.

      HTH.

Whoops. Almost forgot, don't forget to also include the aweber tracking image line which is located usually above the </form... tag. This will also need to be placed on the page some where (inside OR outside the form tags) to enable you to track hits and signups to your list.
