I want to create a referral based website

I have an idea for a referral based website and I would like some programming help. What I want to do is create a website that charges a monthly fee. When people sign up, they will get a unique ID that they can use to get others to join. When someone joins under them, they get paid a portion of the fee every month.

Is there any software out there that can do this for me or would I need to hire a programmer?

    Use Joomla CMS, It has certain features
    *
    you don't know about the tech stuff at all
    * you want easy install & setup with your mouse
    * you don't want to learn the tool you're using
    * you don't need to integrate other scripts etc. to your site
    * you want a candy site and don't mind several other sites using the same template(s)
    * you don't need SEO out of the box
    * you don't care about server resources
    * you're running (or planning to to run) only one or max a couple of sites
    * you don't need one log-in to several sites
    * you don't need user groups & permissions
    * you don't run membership site(s)

      Sounds a bit sarcastic to me. Actually, none of those things are what Im looking for. I do want to learn about this stuff but if I can not then I will gladly pay someone to do it for me.

      So once again, and I will post this in another topic since this probably isnt the right place, I want a website that accepts memberships, gives referral ids and tracks all referrals from its members.

      I want to get rich just like the rest of you and I have many creative ways of doing so. I just dont have the direct knowledge to apply many of my ideas.

        How willing are you to "learn about this stuff" and get your hands a little dirty?

        There are quite a few options, from Free and spend sometime on them, or paid and get something up and running a little quicker.

        I took the Free and getting my hands dirty option using Mike Filsaimes Butterfly Marketing Script, and it's turning out ok, even for someone who'd build one from scratch, but realizes he's got better things to be doing.

        It's not the "most wonderful" script but it does the job and it's got some nice features, which I won't elaborate on. It works out of the box, but has a little bit of a learning curve...as does everything!

        It's a little difficult to know what would suit you without more details, unless of course, the requirements you've put up here are all that you are after!

        Search for it and you'll find it - the BM Script that is!
        I think you have to drop your name and email address and you'll be invited to join his special community for a fee ( which I didn't) , but just grab the script and get going.
