Wordpress footer problem, please help

I have this problem, i have made some wp template using artisteer3 and all works fine just when i try to add link to footer i get some /" on the end of url.
In artisteer when while i working on theme or in preview in some browser (firefox) all works great, but when i upload theme to host it just add /" on end of url, and link do not work

anyone can help?

    check your footer.php file, there might be some extra line there or extra /" there.

    well i dont think so really, i think its some thing between artisteer and wordpress.
    but i just got pissed alot. trying to fix this for some hours already and i cant see some solution.

    never had this problem, but your link might be like this?

    <a href=''> </a/>

    ? or it could be comng from a function above it.

    edit your footer.php file through the wordpress theme editor.

    and remove the special character from the spot in question.

    then save. Ive seen this before it has to do with the encoding type or the editor and wordpress not being compatible.

    this is some problem i found that some other also had but i could not solve it on way they did, as they suggested to change some lines in functions.php and footer.php that my files dont contain.
    so i solved problem with redirection, but i wanna know does redirection have same effect like the link was linking directly to home page of site? (in the terms of link juice and on page seo)

    ..check your codes at footer.php very well, try to find that character on the codes, i think there is a misplace character or a excess character..
