    The TLD part of a domain is the last part of the domainname. If you look at a website you will see that the TLD is COM. It would be appropriate if we learn about the Root Domain. As mentioned earlier, Domain name is a hierarchy and it is the name used for resources or computers that participate in the internet.

    In Simple ccTLD are country specific domains like google.co.uk (from UK)
    and gTLD are top level generic domain like google.com google.org

    GTLD stands for Generic Toplevel Domain. The most common GTLD are .com, .net, .org while CCTLD stands for County Code Top Level Domain.
    A CCTLD could be for example .us (For the US).
