Need help getting my ebook from my computer to my website

Hi all,
I am having trouble getting my ebook to my website. I am not sure how to get it into my cpanel and I am not sure where to put it. I also want to make it a clickable download from my thank you page. I know a little html and I have a very basic understanding of putting these kinds of things togeter, but not sure what to do to make this happen.

Any advice would be much appreciated. I really want to learn to do this myself. I don't want someone to do it for me.

Thanks,
Gen

    It's super easy with cPanel.
    1. Zip your ebook files (everything you want included in the download)
    2. Go to the cPanel and there is an upload option
    3. You can upload to the root folder or create a subdirectory for downloads (just don't NAME it downloads...lol)
    4. On your download page, you simply put a link to the file like this
      Code:
      <a href="http://xxx.XXXX.com/filename.zip">Click here to download</a>

as long as the file is in htdocs, www, public_html, OR httpdocs your visitors can reach it from their browsers.
I think cPanel had a filemanager, no ?

Are you using WordPress? Have you tried qSandbox yet?

you can use the filemanager in cpanel for this, go to the directory where you want the ebook to be and click upload. alternatively learn how to use an FTP program such as filezilla or aceftp to access your files you will probably need to learn this in the future anyway.
