google analytics goal conversions

hi

i am having one hell of a time making the goal conversions tracking work. I think I am doing everything correctly that I was supposed to do yet, the goals keep returning no results (although I subscribed myself to my own campaign and went through all of the steps successfully)

anybody knows how to make the goals tracking work? Or, do you at least know of a free alternative to analytics that allows tracking conversions?

    I would recommend checking out Open Web Analytics. It's open source and very reliable. It can handle goal conversions as well as funneling

      Too complicated for me at the moment. But thanks anyway. It's just I was looking for in terms of features and I will use it in the near future
