Hi,

Im not a programmer so please be gentle!!

I am making a blog for my record label on a test domain intelligentaudio.net test | test for IA

I am experimenting with Elegant Themes and once I get it how I want it, I would like to clone the whole thing and install it on the correct domain, but obviously, not yet since I am getting visitors to the real website and I don't want them to see my work in progress!

Can anyone please tell me how I can make an exact copy including all of the content, settings, everything, from one WP site, and copy it and then re-install it on another WP on another URL??

I tried something once from Dan Brock but it was complicated and it was already packaged anyway!

Hope someone can help and thank you SO MUCH in advance for any help!

Cheers, Clare :-)

Check out Jason Fladien's "WP Twin Wordpress Cloner". Never used it myself, but have seen good reviews.

    Hi Clare

I purchased wptwin from Jason Fladien and it works superbly well . . . depending on the host - and the size of it! If you want help, let me know and we could do some testing?

Google: wordpress moving blog; in the official wordpress site (Codex section) you'll see the best free and recommended ways to do it.
One benefit of this is you'll learn a lot and will have a grasp of a basic and important skill, even if it takes some time.

Once you see the steps and if you have problems you can hire someone on fiverr to help you, that way you can do it very cheap, hope it helps.
