Can someone help me with website creation?

I have a simple 4 page website that I designed in Photoshop and exported to html. I also have 2 .swf files that need to be embedded in very particular parts of the pages to make the site look seamless. I've been trying to use Dreamweaver to do this to no avail. It won't let me import the movie files where I want them and any time I do import them the slices get messed up and it looks horrible. Is there an easier way to do this? All I need to do is have 1 swf in the same spot on 3 pages and the other one on the main page, make links and I'm done and this has been frustrating me to no end. Thanks in advance.

    Photoshop and dreamweaver just aren't very good for web development.

    If you want to do this kind of thing and do it right, bite the bullet and learn CSS and Ruby on Rails.. It's not as tough as it seems at first and there are piles of sites offering free help and tutorials.

    Use notepad ++ for the best web designing and you will easily embed all SWF flash objects into HTML but try to make path much easier for your HTML file so that they detect them where the file is located.

    I never really got the hang of using Dreamweaver.

    You might want to try Kompozer (KompoZer - Easy web authoring). It's a free WYSIWYG HTML editor.

    Your other option is just learn to code HTML and CSS files in a text editor. This is what I do myself, but I'm a developer not a designer, so I feel more comfortable with code.

      Agree, I never had a problem using dreamweaver too, I advice you to learn html and css and use dreamweaver again

    Photoshops export as html produces crappy code and too many images.
    However if you dont plan on changing the site much, and this flash positioning is all you need to do, just use css absolute positioning.
