Social Sharing Button Problems

Hi guys

I installed TF Social Share on my health blog today so that I could have some sharing buttons above my post content.

Everything works great, apart from the fact that when someone shares a post on Facebook, in the text preview when the post is published to Facebook, only my Adsense code is displayed.

Is there a way I could modify the plug-in or an aspect of the code so that the plug-in bypasses the Adsense code and instead plucks the first few sentences and posts it to Facebook.

Here is an example page from the blog:

50 Tips For Perfect Health | Glowing Skin | Beautiful Hair | Perfect Body

And here is what it looks like on Facebook (see attachment)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
James

tried to have a look at it - but it is not something obvious :S

Could you let me know the wordpress version and the plugin version - maybe I can investigate it even more.

The WP version is the very latest one. I updated it this morning.

The plugin version (Twitter Facebook Social Share) is version 2.1.0.

I've also noticed that my Facebook Like button at the end of the posts which is not the same plug-in (at least I don't think it is since it came with the theme) also has the same problem.

Rather than removing the Adsense code, do you have any solutions?

      Thanks,
      James

No removing adsense code is not a solution

I am going to do a fresh installation of the plugin locally and try to debug the problem for you. I will post back once I have anything in mind.

Hope you are not in a hurry though

    Thanks Gaetanoc

I've just noticed one more problem. If you look at the "Popular Posts" widget on the right hand side, the word Tweet is at the start of each excerpt.

I'm going to temporarily disable so let me know if you find anything.

    Thanks,
    James
