Facebook Landing Page ~AFTER~ Like!

Does anyone even know if this is possible? Using a Facebook app called Static Iframe Tab to create the custom landing page at (see Marketing Ideas 101 | Facebook ) but would like to offer a different landing page once the visitor has 'Liked' the page and not sure if this interaction with the Facebook interface can be done?

Any ideas?

Hmm. It might be do-able with ajax if you can programmatically tell if a user has already liked a page then re-direct/programmatically change your landing iframe landing page.

You might be able to achieve this more easily with a fake/faux button, that when clicked, likes your page, then directs them to your other custom page/changes it automagically.

      johndoe,
Sounds like it could work, but some questions:

      1. How would one place the mock button over the real Facebook button? Or would there then be two buttons and you would try to get people to click the custom button instead of the 'real' button?

      2. How to tell Facebook to register the Like event?

Yeah, you're right, then there would be two buttons, which I somehow didn't realize. The fake button idea really wouldn't work then.

Is Wildfire iFrame App what you're looking for?

You can check out a working example I've just set up here.

Young Samurai, this looks good, but I seem to be having trouble getting the Wildfire iFrame to be the landing page? I have been able to set up the non-fan/fan graphics, and that tests well, but right now, if you go to http://www.facebook.com/marketingideas101, it just goes straight to the wall, which I don't want.

I've looked all through the settings but am not seeing any way to force the Welcome as the landing page. Am I missing something?

NEVERMIND! I figured it out. Setting the landing page was updated in the Manage Permissions area under Settings. Done! Thank you all for your thoughts!

            Matt,

Been away from the PC all day and didn't get your question on time to answer.

            Glad you figured it out.

Your graphics are better than mine - nice work.
