Hyperlinks on Squidoo

I'm a relative newbie, and I've read and followed all the advice I can find on adding hyperlinks to a Squidoo text module, but mine still don't work. They just keep getting changed back to <a>anchor text</a>. What am I doing wrong? :confused:

    Why are the descriptions of items on my squidoo lens missing?

    So I made a squidoo lens, linking books from Amazon with squidoo, and the titles, links and thumbnail images all showed up no problem, but the description/recommendation I had added in the "description" section on the menu doesn't show. I've tried searching for an answer but have had no luck. Any ideas?

    You have your text set up incorrectly. I will send you a PM and show you how to do it manually.
