Any "Adobe Livecycle Designer" Pros Out There?

Im a designer, and I want to design a nice looking pdf, and make the pdf text and images editable, meaning I want someone to be able to take the pdf once designed, more like a template, then have them be able to open the pdf with adobe reader 9, which is free and replace any text or images, with their own.

I understand or believe that this is possible using "Adobe Livecycle Designer"?

I have adobe acrobat pro, but I am not sure if that is all I need. Any ideas, suggestions, good tutorials, or just a steer in the right direction would be helpful...

Adobe Livecycle Designer will require that anyone else you want to edit your pdfs have the Livecycle Designer as well. You can't alter Livecycle files with a reader.

My suggestion would be to make a nice HTML5 app that has whatever your templates are already set up, allow them to be edited, then output the whole shebang as a pdf for download.
