Hi,
i am building a forum and while searching for a good name started it like subdomain in HG. Now i bought the name with GD and i dont know what to do. I changed the nameservers ath GD, then what? I want the final result to be when i write xxx.com all the pages at the forum to show like this not aaa.aaa.com and i want it permanently cause this name would stay. Any help will be appreciated!

You can just move the forum into the root directory of the HostGator account. Once you verify xxxx.com is showing the forum, just remove the subdomain from cPanel.

i have a working blog there. maybe i made a mistake. how to correct this to separate them to avoid further mess? wait 2 months and transfer the com to HG? Then transfer the forum?
forum is still under construction, and i believe in 2 months would be ready to launch. Its online now but i am working on it

i believe i figured it. will add-on domain with the new name, transfer the forum there and point to it. so i assume will avoid future problems with domains if i decide to sell one day.
