white space using CSS 20% 80% 20% that adds to 100% right?

PROGRAMMING

I have some white space showing in between my three column page. not sure why. I have tried increasing some widths, but that cuts of just a little bit of text which is not acceptable.
Also my banner sucks, I'll fix it next, but any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hmm no disrespect .. but I just had a flashback to 1996 when I looked at your site. For a second there I thought I was on a geocities website! Really thats not very good. Im only telling you to help not to insult. I would suggest that you hit up one of the freelance sites and get a freelance developer to bang out a landing page for you.

  You're right. It's been quite a few years since I worked on websites. I appreciate your input. I only put a couple hours of work on the presentation, focusing more on the content and being found on google. It needs a ton of work in this area. Thanks again.
