joomla extension development

hi friends. i want to make accounts and inventory application using joomla but i didn't find any useful extension for it yet so i am thinking to develop my own extension but i don't know how to make it can u guys please tell me, is it hard to develop extensions or not?

i should learn proper php/mysql first and then develop extension or still i can make it easily??

please some real experts reply fast. i need guidance.

    If you don´t know how to code php & mysql, I would suggest finding somebody who knows what they are doing to code your application.

    You need to know php, have knowledge of MVC design patterns, understand relational databases, javascript, html and css, then learn the joomla framework.

    If you have a bit of knowledge of php/mysql, get one of the books on joomla development and work through it, you should get the basics.

    Also check out a couple of sites that create the skeleton framework for you (backend screens, database, basic front-end views etc.),
    notwebdesign does a good one, j-cookpro does another (search in google for the sites)
