Which of these laptops is better for business?

Looking to purchase a new laptop for the business. Concerned with performance since I will have many programs running at once. I've heard the i7 2630 is a better processor but not sure if sams club item will be lesser quality:

Dell XPS X15L-1094ELS:

Its a little hard to say which is 'better for business' without know what your business is. I mean are you going to video edit? Are you going to just use spreadsheets? Any modern laptop is going to run standard business software (email, spreadsheet, powerpoint etc) just fine. If you dont need anything high end like for Video editing or Graphic Design go with the one from Ebay.

By the way .. Sams Club is good for bulk items .. but for electronics they are really no good. I have actually seen the same thing at Walmart that was less expensive then what it was at Sams Club.

Walmart sold a Dell XPS? The comp will be used for multi tasking running programs like word ranktracker, spyglass, and maybe some minor video editing/rendering.

One more thing. The one from ebay has an i7-2640M duel core processor which benchmarks lower than the sams club one. Sams club processor is a quad core.

    ebay:
    PassMark - Intel Core i7-2640M @ 2.80GHz - Price performance comparison

    sams club processor:
    PassMark CPU Lookup

Would you still go with the ebay one?

your multi tasking work will need a good processor, remember to compare the processors here: Intel Processor Comparison

After close inspection, i7-2360QM seems better, it has 4 core(vs 2), # of threads 8(vs 4), cache memory 6MB (vs 4MB). Only downside is it has only 2.00 GHz as compatred to 2.80 Ghz.

No wonder they make the processors very hard to choose from. But i'll go with i7-2360QM, it will balance the processor speed while you do the multi tasking work.
    Signature

    Have a great day!

Ended up going with this model:

    Toshiba Satellite S855-S5254 15.6" Laptop | Staples®

Great processor, plus was on sale for $679. Surprisingly Toshiba is one of the most reliable computers made. Here is a study done by a computer warranty company:

    I strongly advice against Dell.
We worked with Dell because they are cheap and powerful, but their life expectancy doesn't go beyond one year.

Lenovo Thinkpad on the other hand are awesome.
That's what we used at Facebook, and that's what I'm using for my business now, and they are powerful, affordable, and 100% made for business. Never got a single issue.
