      Hey I'm asking a fairly straightforward question because I'd like to learn how much it costs.

      Do you have any value to leave? If not please take some time and leave something of value. If you can't create an app then why leave a comment. If you can create an app, maybe I'd like to pay to have you build one.

        A couple of issues - the first is there isn't such a thing as a WordPress "app". We can assume you are talking about a "plugin", but who's to know?

        Second, I can write a plugin in a little less than 5 minutes that will spit out "Hi, I am Bozo the Clown!" at the beginning of each post. That would cost you $100 (because I have a $100 minimum billing). Or, I could write one that could do everything but vacuum your carpet and wipe your bottom for you. It could take weeks and cost upward of $20K.

        So the question you're asking isn't as straightforward as you'd like to think it is, which is why it got answered the way it did.

        Many people can write WP plugins. Fewer people can do it well. What it costs depends on what you want and who you hire to do it.

          Well, I love the fact that you provided me some direction. Thank you! I wasn't looking at causing such commotion with a simple question. I thought this was a forum to learn.

          Not such a forward learning experience so far... thanks for at least providing some direction.

    What type of features are you looking for? If you're looking for an app for the iPhone. You can pretty much purchase a pre-made app/code and edit it with your links. All you would need is just an Apple developer's account ($99) to submit it to the Apple store.
