converting ss includes to wordpress?

I'm transitioning my html static site to wordpress and I'm having a problem trying to figure out how to use 'Includes' in WP. I'm thinking I should be able to set something up to use short codes or something but after hours of trying different stuff, I haven't nailed it down yet.
For example, I have a FAQ video I want to put on several pages. In html I used the <!---includes file --> code but obviously that's not working in .php.
Any suggestions?
