I was listing one of my sites on flippa, when I got to the verify ownership part it told me to upload some /flippa_####### type of code at the end of my address. I tried to cut a corner and just pasted it right after my site code in my wordpress general settings. Making it my website URL. Now I can no longer get to my dashboard in order to undo the mistake. Does anyone out there know a way for me to back my way into my dashboard?? Thanks in advance for any help you could give me on this

Why contact Flippa if you messed around with your website?

To double check with you so I understand correctly, you set the URL of your wordpress to the one of flippa verification code and now you can't log into wordpress admin panel anymore?

If so, Changing The Site URL « WordPress Codex

Go to the database for the site and change the password, you will need to encode the password with md5 before putting it in the database.

If you altered one of the core files either in your theme or in wordpress itself then you will need to undo that by manually removing the code by using FTP to download the file and make the change then reupload or use a similar option in your CPanel file manager. Sounds like you made an alteration to one or more of the physical files on the site itself.

Now if you did something similar but to content on the site then you would need to use phpMyAdmin to manually alter the database to remove the code.

Wordpress stores most of it's data in the database but there is still a lot of code in the physical files that you can mess up and either or both can prevent access to the site.

If that fails you can request your host restore your site from the most recent backup if you don't have one of your own. The problem here is that ALL changes to your site since the last backup will be wiped out.
