Pay for New Thread
I have a growing forum community for app developers. I would like to add the functionality to charge my members to open New Threads in a specific forum, similar to the way WSO posting takes place here. We are currently running phpbb, but I am willing to make the switch to a different platform per your recommendations.
I do have an old vBulletin 3.x license that is not currently being used for anything. I wasn't sure if vBulletin was the only way to go for this or not. I have searched the phpbb boards for awhile with no luck. That is also true of SMF and mybb. Although it is highly possible (and I am hopeful) that such a system exists, and I'm just not smart enough to find it.
What say you? Can any of you point me in the direction of forum software that will allow me to charge on a per thread basis?
