      SENIOR programmer. We are looking for someone with multiple talents when it comes to programming. We currently develop most of our projects in Cake PHP as well as Wordpress, but we have clients with older sites in all languages. It would be nice to find someone who can handle it all

        Just a tip here. Saying I need someone who knows it 'all' is so vague that anyone serous is not going to even respond. When I was freelancing I would have just declined a invite to bid from a job like this without giving it a second thought. If your really interested in hiring a professional your going to need to outline job requirements , skills needed, and work expectations exactly.

    Your best chance is to recruit someone that already has a job. Usually advertising like this is a good way to find lots of junior developers, but to really find someone who is senior, it is proven that the most effective means of doing so successfully is to do recruitment. Usually this means using Linked In, or hiring a headhunter to do the work for you.

    Forums like this are usually a poor way to find who you need anyway, unless you nurture a relationship with people you get to know here first.
