Zip/Rar files. One file in 10 zip/rar files (?)

PROGRAMMING

Hello,

I am wondering if this section is suitable for my quastion/issue ,but I think it's best location where I can ask this type of quastion and get answer.So I have one file (pdf) and I want to make 10 zip/rar files for that one file(pdf). For example if I download in folder just 5 parts zip file from 10 I could't unzip , but if I have 10 parts zip files I can. Hope you understand what I mean

So please can somebody tell me how I can do what ?

you could use 7zip - very good archiver, has version for mac I think

Red whole thread and it's soo complicated..one person said what you can broke your mac doing what he said..hmm, i do NOt want to broke my mac..everyone talking in what thread about how complicated is to make what I am asking,and what there are no software what can do what..hmm.. maybe I will give somebody(windows user) the file I want to rar and split, I think it the best way.. thanks anyway for you time Michael

7zip worked ! Archieved and made several splits ,but I thinking about windows users..can they upen 7zip files with for example winrar? Or they will downlaod my files and can't uznip...

If you use 7zip to compress it to a regular zip file (make sure it's in zip format, and not 7z format, etc), it should open up fine for Windows users. Anyone on XP or newer only has to right-click on the zipped file and select 'Extract' to unzip it.
