POPUPS??? HELP

Everyone has seen theme...you go to a site

and a pop up asks you to subscribe to get free

stuff or something of the like.


My question is..."how?"


I want to incorporate this into a few of my sites to build

lists and I don't even know where to start.

Is it a plugin???

    If your on WordPress, then yes... a plugin. And there's are tons of them out there.

    Don't do it, its really annoying for the users. Am sure 90% will just close that popup.

    A person will subscribe to your list only after he has seen whether you are giving some valuable information or content. I don't think anybody will subscribe without knowing you, your website, your content.

    There is some coding required first in the header section then settle the link for the pop window on the web page and finally code the web page.
