help, someone hacked? my wordpress

somehow in the google results for my site underneath my the main link in the metadescription section someone added a bunch of crap about payday loans. when i view source on the affected pages this does not appear.

what happened and how can i clear it?

    This seems to be malware code injected on the site.
    Check all the files manually & clean them.
    Then change all the logins passwords like Hosting Cpanel , FTP server as well as the WP Admin .
    Also inform the hosting tech support to hard secure the server siting these issues.

    Sucuri SiteCheck - Free Website Malware Scanner is a fast online checker, and

    Wordfence plugin will scan your files for malware.

    Once you get the site clean, review all the suggestions at http://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress and leave Wordfence installed and let it guard against attacks, also add BulletProof Security plugin.

    I think you have to search for some infected code in your files. Try to use some security plugins to prevent such things from happening in the future.
