Need idea for new software

Any time I get an itch to write something I look at code canyon scripts, find one I like, then clone it. You may just find something worth creating

How is that creating? I guess a lot of people are genius inventors! There is a facinating machine that can simplify that, a COPYING machine.

Sounds like someone has a bad case of Mondays! I never said copy, I said clone. This means seeing the functionality and scripting your own version! Perhaps you do it because you need something to do. Maybe you do it because you see some functionality that you like and want to try and see if you can do it yourself. Perhaps you like what the script does but want it to function slightly different. Maybe a client asked you to specifically clone the script in another scripting language. Maybe you are trying to learn how to program and decide learning is best by actually putting something into practice! The list goes on.

I dislike people that just clone something. However I love people that clone something and IMPROVE on it by adding new features or making existing features easier to use .... Now that's "cloned innovation"

What would be the purpose of a yellow page/white page scraper? Collecting data? What would the export be? What would someone want to use it for?

I'm bored. I feel like doing a little overnight hack project. Scrapers are easy to churn out. Would anyone even use it?

  Yeah plenty of people would like a yellow pages scraper - to find leads
  
  have sold a few for @200-500 depending on complexity (logins etc) and frequency of scrapes (proxying)

I am not sure if there is an application that will list freshly listed prices on the internet for a product that is described on a website. This should include the name of the seller, say, like WalMart, Target, etc. , the price, and the link to that seller. But this is what I was interested in.

A program that takes articles from certain blogs and categorizes for you so you can read them at a certain time. Or a type of event/planner with prioritizing features? Both could come in handy for internet marketers.

I would recommend you to make any sms api which can work worldwide so that many people can use it. This is the most used commnucation so i think its a great idea

One of the hardest softwares to find are the ones to keep up with your ranking in the serps. There are a few out there, but they always charge a high monthly fee. Another idea would be something to track video ranking.
