Not sure is this is the right forum to post it in.

Well, what I am going to be doing is setting up a sales page or two for product research, to see if there is a demand for the product before spending alot on getting stock. I'll be taking information from those interested.

Probably most will say WP, but I am wondering what the best way to show these sales pages would be?

its creating a website, of course, but how would you set it up?

get it written, designed, then where to upload it too, what platform should I use?

or if yuo can even point me to an indepth website or book that can teach me about what I am trying to do.

I am basically looking to get as much information as possible so that i know what I am asking for and getting from those I hire.

thanks

    Creating custom website .

    Step 1 - Web design
Step 2 - Coding and create static website
Step 3 - create dynamic website if you want
Step 4 - Upload on host like godaddy or hostgator etc
Now you can see your live website on browsers .

Dear in this time, WP is also not safe, My 4 websites had hacked. Any good hacker can easily inject that. but if you want to use WP so you need to use security plugins. that is most important for you.
otherwise WP is okay you can use it. I Love it.

It sounds to me that you don't need anything fancy. If one of those free or low-cost hosted platforms works for you, there's no need to invest time or money developing a WP site. Weebly and Wix are this kind of services.

WordPress itself has been pretty safe lately. Usually security problems are user's fault in one way or another. Account with the username "admin", bad passwords, insecure plugins, neglecting updates...
      Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

Thanks. Yeah, hoping not too spend alot on this. as long as I get the information I need.

I'll have a look at wix and weebly to see what they are like.

May use WP in the end though. I had a site hacked on there before, but didn't and kinda still don't have a clue on how to set up and run a website. Massive learning experience though. lol
