Hi guys,

A friend told me that running images through https slow down your site dramatically because the images get encrypted. Is this true?

    Interest question.

    I never thought about it, so I just spend 20 minutes searching.

    Since there is absolutely nothing regarding images being slower via SSL, I'd have to guess it does not really matter.

    Here I found Myth #3 discussing HTTP vs HTTPS speeds.

    They claim there is not much difference, and never discuss images.
