Unable to access my web hosting account.

PROGRAMMING

If this isn't the correct forum then please redirect me.

I am unable to access any of my websites. I am just told that the server cannot be accesses. My web host cannot see any problem with the sites or the account.

I have cleared cache, restarted the PC, reset the router, all to no avail.

I tried just looking up my blog via Google It's there, but when I click I get the same message. Unable to connect Non authoritative - host not found.

I have no idea what to do, can anyone suggest anything?

Thank you Jack.

It says It's not just you! ...... looks down from here.

But when I asked someone to test it they could see it and the webhost say there is no problem.

Try using different name servers on your PC, if that doesn't work ask your ISP.

  This is how you do it on Win7, look for the DNS server section: Change TCP/IP settings - Microsoft Windows Help. The IP address of Google's DNS server is 8.8.8.8.
  
  Before you do that, however, I would ask your hosting company to verify that the server that your account is on hasn't automatically blacklisted your IP address in its firewall. All it takes (usually) is 5 failed login attempts, which could happen if your email program tries once a minute to retrieve your email and fails.

Thank you Steve. I looked up changing the DNS, I didn't even know it was possible, but I do now.

All help much appreciated. I have absolutely no technical knowledge so find it easy to make a drama into a crisis.
