and yes, coder and programmer is the same thing, coder just sounds cooler

I think you have an idea, but want it to implement, to give you an advice try to get it done by your own, or by a close associate or by different people (with divided section of the script).

I can do anything in php/mysql. I am not really interested in straight up projects but if you are looking for a partner we might be able to work something out if I like the idea.

One of the things that creates risk for outsourcing, projects is knowledge, it is true that you do not have to be a coder or understand programming to outsource a project but the real truth that all of these (outsource, your project ebooks, courses, memberships, ect,) always, leave out is that you need to understand enough about the different technologies, to be able to spot, (brokers, (those that find jobs and outsource them) from the real deal programmers and coders, ) );

I have a client that recently wanted to create an android application that could generate complex functions for a service industry in the HVAC market, (there were EPA regulations to manage and other complex legal issues,) in the end, we used Jquery and some very cool math to get the job done, )

The cost was very low from a corporate standpoint, you could have done the same thing with objective C or with some other form of language.

But the cost would have been 100 times more, Jquery was the right choice, knowing where to start, now that is something that in this case saved the client thousands of dollars.

Sometimes its about getting good advice before you begin the project, before you look for programmers, before you hire a contractor.

It looks you need a programmer. Only a programmer can work with a script. You either need a script to fetch some data or push data to other system/site. I can help you with that

The best thing you can do is to post a detailed description of the person you're looking on different job posting sites like Monster.com, Indeed.com and etc. It helps you narrows applicants and also widen your search to find the right person for the job. Other alternative where you can look for programmers to hire are Freelancer.com , Staff.com, Guru.com and etc.
