Simple question - Is there a notepad that has spellcheck built in?

Hey all,

I'm so sick of using the windows clipboard to transfer text from the clunky Word program to a clean text format (using something like notepad).

So I was wondering if anyone knew a good note pad that has spell check built in?

I've tried those background system spell checkers before (the ones that run in your toolbar) but they really suck and are actually quite annoying.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

Check out Crimson Editor - it's much more than just a note pad - but it does have spell check and it's a pretty lightweight app.

This is for $30 too, but I've never used it.

Try UltraEdit, its an awesome text editor. Lot of features too.

I've been using notepad++ for a few months now and love it. Colour coding for loads of different languanges, a diff tool, hex editor, macros, spell checking - the list goes on and on.
