Can anyone advise? Their domain authority is very high and they said they make sure to varify anyone lising on them as New York business. My company is from New York so it would make sense to be on here, I just want another opinion to see that this looks legit and safe from any link penalty or anything.

    You won't get a link penalty for linking to that site. As far as will it help you out or not... That's something you will have to try for yourself and see.
