Hello,

I'll have a .co.uk dating site with a blog.

www.myukdatingsite.co.uk and www.myukdatingsite.co.uk/blog/

What's the most effective way to use my blog when I'll launch a US version of the site?

Is there a way to have a copy of the blog on the Us site without being penalised by Google? I can't write specific articles for each country, it will be only one blog. Or should I use the .co.uk blog for the US site?

Best regards,

If that's the case, I would have my US blog at www.myukdatingsite.com/blog/ To minimize duplicate content, I'd change the title tag for each country (for UK "How to Date | Dating Site UK." for US, "How to Date | Dating Site US"). I'd also have different meta descriptions for each country.

Ideally, you'd have unique content for each ccTLD, but if that's not possible, try to change as many of the on-page elements as possible (title tags, meta descriptions, H1s, etc.)

In my experience, duplicate content on multiple ccTLD isn't that big of a deal if you alter on-page elements and make sure you use the local language (if applicable).
