Being on contextual directories ...?

Say for example you sell gambling equipment - shouldn't it theoretically be ok to be on a high domain authority site that has a directory of gaming vendors?

Do you think this is likely the case? Assuming you don't get tons of these links or something.

    Theoretically alright! Even if you get tons of these links built with a passage of time. But depending solely on such directories without analyzing your competitors have progressed on top of SERPs will not do much good, I believe.
