    Shoot more straight mate, Its a hard one to crack.

    Ill give your brain something to think about meanwhile your doing a more specific thread.
    Times are changing , as well as Google.
    IF you live a life and have a business it will always be "problems".
    I wouldn't say problems but "interesting situations" to solve.

    Need tips on link building just check the forum or post a relevant question on the problems.

    Not to scare you off but

    You will always find new "errors" in everything you do no matter if its link building or in IRL.
    Just face it, if your paid for SEO services your job is to solve this "problems".

    GIVE me the short cut. there is not such thing in life or businesses,, We live and we learn and give value for money.

    if you can show me how to live life and keep going forward without any "problems" Ill show you the way of link building without any problems.

    Better go for profile linking, it will help in creating back links with out any problem, but remember you need to do some activities in that sites in which you are going to built profile linking. Next start posting content in web2.0 pages and have a link to your site (Content should be unique and quality), try few top Social bookmarking

      I'm in the same boat as the OP.

      Although I'm not having any problems, I'm just more curious about where these article directories are?

      I'm pretty new to all this, and I've been commenting on blog posts and linking that way. I've run out of ideas of where else I can put out my links.

      I did a backlink check and I'm only showing 79 links, although I've been only been trying to backlink for the last 7-10 days.

      Do I need more time before they show up?

    There are many ways, dear you follow the steps:
    1. Dofollow blogs commenting.
    2. Guest posting for backlinks.
    3. Forum posts

    Google appreciate above mentioned techniques of backlink. Automatic tools will generate spam links.

    The best advice I can give is to "go for diversity". Google and the other search engines want to see a diverse link portfolio which could consist of:

    - Profile Links
    - Association links (if you are a member of any)
    - Comment Links (although, DO NOT optimize the anchor text, just use your name).
    - Social Bookmarking
    - Guest Posts (not too many of these though)
    - Testimonial Links
    - Content Leverage Links (example: Link to blog post from relevant YouTube video)

    SEO these days is not easy, but you can make it easier if you make it look natural by having lots of different types of links. It also makes your job of link building easier because you have lots of different ideas to go for.

    Can you please be a little more clear about exactly what type of problem you face with link building process ? because I don't think there is anything that much concise over link building which you need to keep a watch on or you might be trying something other than the normal link building.

    You might be facing problem regarding Link quality. Make sure to do link building in very natural way. where ever, you are referring your link, that should help the user of that page to serve his purpose. Get engagement to your page, by adding a comment section or by sharing in social media etc. Would like to know exactly which problem, you are facing.
