Backlinks don't come up

Hi guys I'm totally new to SEO.

I'm trying to learn, but something is unclear to me.

I tried to build some backlinks, like on facebook, pinterest and youtube.
I've tried a bunch of websites to check my backlinks like "ahrefs.com" but they all say that my site has no backlinks.

How is that possible? What am I doing wrong?

    It takes time for any backlink checker to find your backlinks.

    Many times, they will only find about 20-25% of your total links.

    Just because a link doesn't show up in Ahrefs, doesn't mean that Google is not aware of it.

      First of all thank you very much for getting back to me..

      So up to a few weeks is normal, right?

      Could you recommend me how to check my actual backlinks?

        There is nothing you can do to actually see them all.

        I wouldn't worry about it too much though. Links from Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube are extremely weak.

        If the pages and links show up in Google's cache, then Google knows about them.

    You can always use a indexer to get them seen faster but majority of the time it will take awhile for your backlinks to show up.

    backlink checkers take time, they don't catch everything doesnt mean they have no impact on rankings -

    take your time- please don't go blasting because you think no one is counting your links

    I wouldn't worry about it. This is 100% normal. Just keep going about your business. I also prefer majesticseo. But you'll see that most web 2.0 style links are never picked up
