what is the worth of pr4 backlinks
example!
if i will make 100 backlinks on pr4 site/forum/blog
it will be worth for improving my own pr or not?

    if you do a quick search in infamous google - you will find out that PR has been dropped as a public metric - so its funamentally useless as we don't get an update on there - the DA/PA from moz will be a better indication on the value of a link for your site.

    To asswer your question though, lets say you get a PR4 link - it depends whether the link is on the actual page that is with the PR4 or of its just some sub page. You could have awesomeforum.com is PR4 but someone making a post for you there on a new page that page will have no PR at all. and therefore it isn't worth so much.

    The other side is that a backlink will add some authority, but this will fully depend on the page authority that the backlink is on, not the domain - sub pages in forums do not get a lot of juice. You have the right idea in wanting to build high PR links, but just to be clear that posting into 100 forums wont be sending you to a #1 spot for competitive keywords.

    Real PR 4 backlinks carry a ton of link juice but backlinks on PR 4 domains where the page the backlink is on is a PR 0 page won't do much for your site in terms of helping it rank higher. In other words, the page that has the PR is where you should aim to get a link from.

      PR is pointless. I was just sent a list of about 20 PR 6 websites today from someone looking to sell front page links. Yes, the one page that is actually PR6. The PR was accurate as it can be for being a year old... but the DA ranged from 14 to 22 with about 5 to 15 domains each linking to the sites. All the links were spammy.

      The links are $20 a piece. Let me know if you want me to hook you up.

        I know that the importance of toolbar PR in the algorithm has dwindled and that's why I used the adjective "real" to indicate that I'm referring to websites that actually have enough authority to be PR 4 websites. For example, if warriorforum.com was a PR 4 domain, it would be a real PR 4 domain.

    As awj888 already said, PR is not the most important metric today. It has not been updated like forever, meaning sites that show you a PR of 4 could have dropped in value since the update, whilst others showing PR0 might actually have real power. You should focus on Moz metrics (Page Authority, Domain Authority) as well as Majestics Trust and Citation flow. You should also analyze the backlink profile of the site, you can do that with Majestics or Ahrefs. Those data will give you much more insight on how much juice a link from the page will have.

      In any case you need to take care that the backlink comes from the main page. Usually, you have no pagerank or a low pagerank on subpages and this won't help you. Before getting a backlink I would analyze the backlink structure of the site. You need time to get a good ranking in the search engines. Be aware of the offers like "10000 PR 4 backlinks for 5$" or something else. These offers can get you a penalty of google.

    You've misunderstood PR, it's not the PR of the domains home page that's important (if you are after PR), it's the PR of the page your link is on.

    Warrior Forum has a PR4 home page, if you made posts here for links you aren't getting a link from the home page, you would be getting a link from a webpage like this one and it's highly unlikely to even be PR1 long term.

    Note this forum adds nofollow to links, so no direct SEO value adding links here anyway.

    If you want an easy way to determine how much PR is passed via a link see PageRank section "PageRank Prediction Calculator".

    All you need is the simplified PR formula, PR of the webpage your link is on and the total number of internal and outbound links on the page.

    As others have said PR hasn't been publicly updated since December last year, it's way out of date, practically useless. There's indications Google might drop reporting public PR in the future.

    It is better that you can make high page rank 7 to 10 are better or buy it from fiverr or other site.

    Not all PR4s are actually PR4.
    The best way to determine the PR or quality of a domain is by analyzing the backlink profile.

    If you have a high quality number of links between 1 to 10, it could increase your PR though Google hasn't official or rather openly updated PRs on toolbar.

    the point of PR is to save you time. it will take extremely long to build multiple relevant sites to a PR 4 and then link it to yourself.

    Your better off just buying four relevant expired domains (Pr 4-> around $80 bucks) and then point it to your site to get all that linkjuice. Those will be part of your first tier links

    High quality backlinks that comes from relevant good standing websites surely help in your rankings.

    However, the sentence of "100 backlinks on PR4 forum/blog" sounds like a pretty useless service to me. Those might be mostly blog comments and forum links on pages with many outbound links. That's something you would read when you are using automated SEO programs. To get manually 100 PR4 backlinks on relevant quality websites, takes really a long time and effort if you are doing it the right way. If you are hiring someone to do it for you, then this would be an expensive service if it is done the right way.

    As the other members pointed out here, PR is not the perfect metric to base your strategy upon. It is not updated regularly and it does not show the real value of the website. You need to do proper analysis for each website to determine precisely if it is a good one or not.
