Need Seo Help !

Hi all,

I am new here go easy, I own several small businesses in Virginia Beach Va, I have been trying to do my own seo for years, with some success but the more competitive services I offer I am still struggling in. I am looking for some help, someone to give me a check list of whatever it is I am lacking in . I have complete control over all my sites from webmaster to hosting. Thanks Mike

Ok Thanks to all so far , everything I have done is consistent to all the sites I have. I will start with my carpet cleaning site Carpet Cleaning Virginia Beach specialists
1. Installed yoast. All pages seo correct .
2 .Site is responsive.
3. No Webmasters Issues besides 404 pages that were deleted over time .
4.Lots of social sites and directory submissions.


I also own a recording studio that, organically I have done well in my area. Across the board I have done everything consistently on all my pages but I am not doing as well rankings wise. I guess I am just looking for some insight on what I am missing and or lacking.

    1. Pick good relevant keywords for your market both long and short term.
    2. Optimize your pages.
    3. Do a proper offsite SEO.
