Need Help on Google PR

Hello all,
I need some help on Google PR Algorithm, I am just confused on its working and updating.
My site which is anout 17 months old but still now it is not get ranked in Google PR (when i check for, it show 0/10), please any experts help me.
how the google calculates PR? when can my site will get ranked in PR?
Is there any steps to be followed?

Also i came to know that PA/DA are similar to Google PR, is this true? shall consider PA/DA instead of PR?

    Google has already told they're not going to update PR anymore, so you shouldn't be concerned about your website PR.

    PA/DA is the term used by moz to explain the value of any webpage and website. Though its not similar to PR but yes its an alternate which you can look into since Google PR is not updating.

    How 's your traffic and backlink? You can check it 's on http://ahrefs.com/ and tell me the result. Maybe your site get too low quality traffic and backlink

      Hello David,
      It shows about 4.8K back links and 45 ahref domain rank.
      Also i found that the i have lost some dofollow as well as no follow backlinks, i don't know why and how.
      So how can i fix this?

    Google manually count Rank according to their rules & guidelines ! Last Google PR update was 5/6 December 2013 but after that Google didn't update PR so there is need to wait for next Google PR update till than make quality links & avoid spamming !

    It's no big deal

    I purchased a domain that was a PR7

    After a few months, Google lowered it to a PR1

    It still ranks on page one of Google

    PR doesnt matter just give your website the fullest possible knowledge visitors of your website wants in the easiest possible language. And also make guest blogging to other websites just like your website's niche.
